Pink Polka Dot Plant
Also known as: Hypoestes phyllostachya
Polka dot plants are very similar in care to fittonias. They droop when thirsty and make you feel like you've been the worst person ever but within a few minutes of watering they perk right back up. It's never a dull moment with the Mariah Carey of plants. Their unique pattern and many colour variations will make the Polka Dot Plant your new favourite genus. This specific baby plant is a soft pink that varies in vibrance as the light shines through. It has a look of stained glass and loosely resembles the look and feel of Buganvilleas.
Care: 19c and 60% humidity. Bottom water and keep soil moist but not wet. Allow plenty of air circulation and don't leave in standing water as they are not okay with a soggy bottom.
Polka Dot Plants are non toxic to cats and dogs deeming them pet friendly houseplants
Note: Plants are living things and variation is to be expected (celebrated even). The plant you receive won't be exactly the same one as pictured, but we do everything possible to make sure it is representative and that you won't be disapointed. Heights are approximate and include the pot. Any pots or hands featured in the pictures aren't included.
