Philodendron Verrucosum 'Insenci'
Also known as: Bristle leaf Philodendron, Velvet Leaf Philodendron, Philodendron Verrucosum var Incensii
Philodendron verrucosum is from the “you can’t sit with us” gang and now it's here.
This rare velvet leaf Philodendron, native to Central and South America grows usually as a hemiepiphyte. Provide support for them to climb, and they'll massively expand. They don't like direct sunlight so keep them away from strong lights and windows. In the right conditions the leaves can grow up to 1m... Hope you're ready for a jungle house!
Care: Bright indirect sunlight, keep the soil moist during summer, during winter let the soil dry slightly. Temperature: 16c-21c. Humidity: 70%+. Feed biweekly during the growing season.
Note: Plants are living things and variation is to be expected (celebrated even). The plant you receive won't be exactly the same one as pictured, but we do everything possible to make sure it is representative and that you won't be disapointed. Heights are approximate and include the pot. Any pots or hands featured in the pictures aren't included.
