Microsorum musifolium 'Crocodyllus'
The Lizard King is here! It may not be Jim Morrison himself but this prehistoric looking friend is sure to captivate your heart. The Crocodile Fern is native to Australia, because where else do crocodiles do as they please? Clearly nothing was stopping this guy from turning into a plant. Unlike other ferns you don't need to wait for spores to get new ferns as they grow from rhizomes so a simple division will give you a brand new plant.
Care: Medium to low light and 50%^ humidity. It can tolerate temperatures as low as 6 degrees but we recommend keeping it at 19c. Keep soil moist but not wet and divide when pot is looking full.
Crocodile Ferns are not toxic to pets or humans. But, please don't eat them as you may be allergic or they may cause intestinal blockage.
Note: Plants are living things and variation is to be expected (celebrated even). The plant you receive won't be exactly the same one as pictured, but we do everything possible to make sure it is representative and that you won't be disapointed. Heights are approximate and include the pot. Any pots or hands featured in the pictures aren't included.
