Begonia Conchifolia or Shell leaf Begonia is a peculiar type branching off the Begoniaceae genus. They produce long pink stems from which small clusters of white bonnet-like flowers emerge. Their peculiar look and thick leaves makes them a favourite among collectors and hobbyists alike. The centre of their leaves is raised and translucent, reminiscent of a droplet of amber. Their stems are fuzzy and brown not unlike a kiwi although not edible! This plant is sure to charm you with its wild prehistoric looks.

Care: Medium or dappled light. 19c temps+ on average. Feed biweekly during the growing season. The leaves are very easy to snap, if this occurs you can use them to propagate. The plant should be unaffected and will continue to grow.
