Blazing Lime Bloodleaf
Also known as: Chicken-gizzard, Beefsteak plant, or Formosa Bloodleaf, Iresine herbstii 'Blazing Lime'
Iresine also known as Bloodleaf is an incredibly colourful plant. It's bushy in nature and the bow-like lobed leaves look like corgi butts. It's great. One look at this plant and your day is made. In fact it's kinda hard to write this description because I can't stop thinking about corgi butts.
Care: Keep this plant in well draining soil. Let it dry half way between waterings and keep it in a warm bright place. 19c and a South facing window will see this friend thrive. Feed fortnightly in the warmer season.
Note: Plants are living things and variation is to be expected (celebrated even). The plant you receive won't be exactly the same one as pictured, but we do everything possible to make sure it is representative and that you won't be disapointed. Heights are approximate and include the pot. Any pots or hands featured in the pictures aren't included.
