Alocasia Polly 'Amazonica'
Also known as: African mask, Elephant Ear, Amazon Taro, Alocasia Polly 'Amazonica'
Alocasia Amazonica Polly AKA African Mask Plant is one of the most popular Alocasias for good reason. Pollys enjoy a nice shady spot with high humidity and occasional feeding. They go dormant if the temperatures hit below 15c but they come back with a passion when the spring hits. Save the tuber if it dies and keep it warm to trigger regrowth.
Care: Alocasias need shaded spots and high humidity if possible. Ideally a humidity of 50% or more and 19c steadily to keep growing.
Note: Plants are living things and variation is to be expected (celebrated even). The plant you receive won't be exactly the same one as pictured, but we do everything possible to make sure it is representative and that you won't be disapointed. Heights are approximate and include the pot. Any pots or hands featured in the pictures aren't included.
